The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old suspect, Dare Shogaolu, popularly known as “Super M,” during a routine stop-and-search operation in the Mushin area of the state. In a statement issued on Thursday, the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, said officers led by the Divisional Police Officer intercepted the suspect after he was observed acting suspiciously while carrying a white and orange-yellow polythene bag. According to the statement, operatives of the Anti-Crime Patrol Team from Mushin Division stopped the suspect around 10:00 p.m. on March 5 along the LUTH Road axis. A search of the bag allegedly led to the recovery of a locally made pistol.
