The Office of the SUG Director of Socials, FUTO Students' Union Government, led by Comr. Ibim Great (Aluta Greatness), is marking 100 days in office with a string of achievements. In a short time, the office has made significant strides in enhancing student life and campus culture.
Under Comr. Ibim's leadership, the office organized the biggest FUTO Welcome Back Party, which drew over 3,000 students and set the tone for the academic session. The event bridged social gaps across the university, connecting students from diverse faculties, backgrounds, and levels.
Other notable achievements include launching ICON Management, a platform dedicated to discovering, mentoring, and supporting students with talents in entertainment, media, fashion, and creative industries.
The one-time Mr FUTO also pioneered the FUTOVERSE App, an innovative digital solution designed to strengthen student social bonding, help students navigate FUTO in immersive 3D, and build a smarter, more connected campus community.
Comr. Ibim's efforts have created an unforgettable experience for FUTO students and taken steps towards a more inclusive and engaging campus life.
