The senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Sen. Austin Akobundu, has said that no child in the district should be forced to abandon education because of poverty.Akobundu stated this on Saturday in Umuahia during the presentation of scholarships to 114 students of Abia Central origin studying in tertiary institutions. Each beneficiary received N200,000.He said, “No child in Abia Central should drop out of school because of poverty. Not while I am your senator.
