Kwara United have confirmed that three key players will miss their upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) fixture against Shooting Stars, The unavailable players — Abdul Rahman Olarewaju, Gidado Toheeb and Yahaya Ibrahim — have all been sidelined due to injury and will play no part in the encounter. Meanwhile, the duo of Akanni Akeem and Saheed Olaniyi have returned to full fitness and are available for selection after recovering from their respective injuries. Their return is expected to boost coach Suleiman Ashifat’s squad as the Harmony Boys seek to respond positively to last week’s defeat to El-Kanemi Warriors. Kwara United will face Shooting Stars on Sunday at the Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl, George Innih Stadium. The Ilorin-based side defeated Shooting Stars 2–0 in the same fixture last season, with Muhammad Kabiru and Abdallah Ogifini getting on the scoresheet.
