The Face of Jay Imagery 3.0 Grand Finale delivered an unforgettable night of glamour, creativity, fashion, and entertainment as contestants, performers, and guests gathered at the FWT Auditorium, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) for the highly anticipated event.
Held on March 5, 2026, the event attracted a vibrant audience of students, fashion enthusiasts, and supporters who came out in large numbers to witness the crowning of the next Face of Jay Imagery. Although the red carpet activities began earlier in the evening, the main program kicked off around 11:00 p.m., setting the tone for an exciting night that lasted into the early hours of the morning.
The atmosphere was immediately energized as DJ Donny opened the night with an exciting music session that got the audience dancing. MC Straw later officially commenced the event with entertaining comedy performances that set a lively mood for the evening.
The event also featured guest artists who thrilled the crowd with musical performances, adding more excitement to the program.
Event anchors Queen Soma and King Obi were later introduced and took charge of guiding the audience through the different segments of the competition.
The panel of judges, Jossay and Queen Ruby, were also formally introduced. Throughout the competition, they assessed contestants based on confidence, creativity, fashion sense, stage presence, and communication skills.
Adding more energy to the program was MC D Preacher, who kept the audience entertained with jokes and lively commentary throughout the night.
The competition began with the official unveiling of contestants, as they made their first appearance in introduction outfits and confidently introduced themselves to the audience.
For their second appearance, contestants returned in Old School/Y2K themed outfits, creatively showcasing retro and early-2000s fashion styles.
The third appearance featured cosplay-inspired outfits, where contestants demonstrated creativity and costume-inspired fashion that captured the attention of the audience.
During the course of the event, special recognition awards were also presented to individuals who had significantly contributed to the growth and development of Jay Imagery.
At one point during the program, DJ Yung Greg energized the audience with a thrilling music set that had the entire auditorium dancing.
As the competition reached its final stage, contestants appeared in elegant dinner wear, presenting themselves with grace, confidence, and poise. This was followed by the question-and-answer segment, where contestants responded to questions designed to assess their intelligence, composure, and communication abilities.
After several rounds of elimination, the contest narrowed down to the Top 8 finalists, setting the stage for the announcement of the winners.
At the climax of the night, Aguwa Chidera Blessing was crowned Face of Jay Imagery Winner 2026, earning the prestigious title FJI 1.
