The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) was already on the verge of completing the 2024/2025 Rain Semester, which began around July 2025. The semester progressed smoothly, with lectures held as scheduled and tests successfully conducted.
The Rain Semester examinations, originally scheduled to begin on September 15, 2025, have now been rescheduled to commence on Monday, September 22, 2025. This decision was reached during the Senate’s 517th meeting held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, where preparations for the conduct of the exams were reviewed.
The change was officially announced via a memo released by the Office of the Registrar, confirming the new date for the commencement of examination.
