FG ENDORSES SOUTHERN EASTERN TALENT SHOW WITH WINNERS EARNING 10 MILLION NAIRA REWARD.

Aspiring young artists, performers, and creatives from across the South Eastern region of Nigeria are set to converge at Alvan Ikoku College of Education as JK Ballerz Media unveils the Southern Eastern Talent Show, a major youth empowerment initiative backed by federal support.

The event is scheduled to hold on Friday, 15th May 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Alvan 1000 Capacity Hall, Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri, Imo State.

The Southern Eastern Talent Show is federally sponsored by the Office of the Minister of Youth Development and the Office of the Special Assistant to the Nigerian President on Arts, Culture and Creative Economy. It is designed to provide a platform for upcoming artists and young talents from the South East to showcase their abilities in music, dance, pageantry, drama, poetry, and spoken word. More than 5,000 university students and youths are expected to participate.

Over ₦10 million will be distributed as an empowerment fund to the most qualified candidates. The prize structure is as follows

1st Place (Winner) takes ₦3 million, 2nd Place takes ₦2 million, 3rd Place takes ₦1 million while 4th and 5th Place takes ₦250,000 each

Consolation prizes will be awarded to all participants.

Organizers have stated that the talent show will help the youths harness their creativity, grow their careers, and contribute to the upliftment of their communities and society at large. Students in southeastern university have shown great interest and are ready for this new challenge.
