Echegini Scores on 50th PSG Appearance in Win Over Marseille

Jennifer Echegini marked her 50th appearance for Paris Saint-Germain Féminine with a goal in their 2–1 victory over Olympique de Marseille Féminine in the Division 1 Féminine on Wednesday. The Nigerian midfielder, who recently returned to club duty after the international break with the Nigeria women’s national football team following the postponement of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute of the encounter. Echegini calmly finished from close range after being set up by Merveille Kanjinga to give the home side the lead in a closely fought contest. Another Nigerian international, Rasheedat Ajibade, started the match and contributed energy and creativity in attack before she was substituted in the second half for Elimbi.
